I have attended Ruth’s pregnancy Pilates class through both of my pregnancies and would recommend to anyone! They really helped me to prepare my body for birthing and release the daily aches and pains of pregnancy, particularly in the later weeks.
Ruth is a kind and caring professional who takes time to get to know the ladies in the class, tailoring the exercises for individual needs. My stomach muscles separated in my second pregnancy which left me in severe pain. Ruth was able to recommend a course of action for me, offer instant advice and relief and helped with my referral to the hospital physio.
A great way to meet other mums and exercise and relax through your pregnancy. Cannot recommend enough!
2 years ago I was advised to go to Pilates by the hospital after an operation. I found the most amazing person Ruth who over time with her brilliant Pilates classes has given me my life back. Ruth is very professional in every way. She is very approachable and puts everyone at ease. Everyone is treated with respect and the class is structured for each individual. I always felt very comfortable in the classes even when I was struggling.
I can't thank Ruth enough and hope I now can do even more exercise.

I had been struggling with back pain for nearly five months trying various physios for help when I finally decided to book in with Ruth. It was the best decision I made, as within three sessions I was already starting to see a huge improvement. By session five I was completely pain free and still am to this day. Ruth educated me on the pain and how it had happened and gave me effective exercises to do at home. I would highly recommend Ruth as she is friendly, professional and very knowledgable.
I suffered multiple fractures in an accident a year ago and after previous treatments I was starting to think I reached a plateau and that was it.
Ruth was recommended to me and after five sessions of treatment I had made a significant improvement. Having just been on holiday and doing things I never thought I would do again.

I have been attending Ruth’s Pilates classes following some hip problems in pregnancy and a c- section birth.
The classes are clear and easy to follow but also allow participants to work at different levels. They have made a huge difference to my flexibility and general ease of movement. I would highly recommend.
An excellent class. Always friendly and welcoming. Gentle and diverse exercises though you’ll still feel them the next day! Works muscles you didn’t realise you had! I saw improvement in my toning after only a few weeks plus I came out the class feeling taller and significantly more relaxed!
Very professional service received from Ruth Hanson at this practice. Very welcoming , put at ease and procedure explained in an understandable manner, treatment was done with care and understanding of the ageing client, would have no hesitation in recommending this service.
